JONATHAN'S POV

We sat in silence around the table, each one focusing on the food in front of us but barely touching it. A woman who had been introduced to me as Laura looked from one face to the other and sighed.

"I spent a lot of time on this meal people so you better get down to business." She said.

"Thank you for this." I told her and proceeded to dig into the food. I looked up to see Lorena and Ariana doing the same. Sarah Tanner picked up her spoon and began to eat too.

Ariana had called me over. She said she had something important to tell me and I had to come alone because it was something that couldn't get out. I know our relationship was shrouded in secrecy and there would be more shocking revelations to come since I didn't know half of what happened all these years. I had a lot of questions to ask her but I didn't want to bombard her with them. I'd wait and let her talk to me on her own time.
