Zada' smile slowly dropped and she blinked her eyes shifting her weight from one leg to another.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to come out like that," I said and she smiled but it didn't reach her eyes.
"What are you talking about, I don't have a father," she said, shaking her head. "So stop talking nonsense, it's always been just the two of us. As I was saying-"
"Please just meet him so that we can be done with this, I also don't appreciate that he's coming around now after such a long time but maybe you should meet him and tell him that you don't want him in your life, right?" I held her shoulders looking at her trying to find some sort of reaction to what I was saying but there was none. "It's only going to be us and our baby boy right, Zada?"

I trailed behind Theo as he commanded that I join him in his office, he looked furious, great, I was too."What was that about?" He asked angrily and I shrugged my shoulders suggesting that I didn't know what he was talking about."What?""Don't play dumb with me," he growled and I pouted my lips before giggling."You really have to be more specific when you talk to me, I do a whole lot of shit, and I did a lot today, so what are we talking about?" I crossed my arms over my chest and he rolled his eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me.""Well, I can't help it if you're acting that way," he said and I pulled my eyebrows together."Acting like what?" I asked.
I stared at the blank canvas that waited for me to violently paint my feelings on it. I sat on the floor twirling my paintbrush in my hand while my head chin rested on my other hand. Lying down on my side, I carried on looking at the taunting whiteboard that teased me for not knowing what emotions I wanted to paint, I didn't know where to start. Zada had decided to go out for lunch with John today, and we had dinner with Travis' family later on tonight... I tried to warn her against meeting both 'stressful' factors in one day but she said she would rather deal with it all in one day. Switching my position to lie on my back, I stared up at the ceiling and traced its circular patterns with my eyes while softly singing Mirror by Little Dragon. I couldn't help but feel as if I was getting it all wrong, all that I was doing...was any of it the right ch
I watched Theo's expression change from pleased to annoyed and I giggled sitting up and pinched his cheek. "You should see your face right now," I laughed getting off his lap. "I was just playing.""Well I didn't find it funny," he muttered rudely and I laughed walking over to the door, before leaving, I turned around and put my hand on my hip."But you found it tempting, didn't you? You twitched underneath me and your pupils expanded," I said with a shrug and he rolled his eyes getting off the bed and pulling his pants up."What are you now? A fucking psychologist?" he grumbled and I smirked shaking my head."No, I think I'm your mistress, and I believe that also comes with being able to read you," I said and he sighed."Xan
"Oh my gosh, Patrick, you're so funny," I laughed at Mr William's joke. He had given me the go-ahead to call him by his name to which his wife protested but he said it was his and I was allowed to call him that. Whenever she tried to throw jabs at Zada, I would always throw a bigger one, for example, mentioning how the dull white paint made the family look boring to which Patrick would respond that they were actually planning on changing the colour. Mrs William certainly didn't like how her husband was being a loose mouth and after a few glasses of wine for him, he was very charming. The man couldn't stop complimenting Zada and me, asking how his son was lucky enough to bag a girl like Zada and how their child was going to be beautiful. I would then add fuel to the fire and suggest that we were prettier than Mrs William. I wouldn't be doing all th
"Oh, I'm so exhausted," Zada moaned as she sank into the couch resting her legs on the coffee table, her hand rested on her small baby bump and I sat on the couch opposite hers. I crossed my legs and bit my cheek to stop myself from smiling at the memory of what happened a few hours ago in Theo's car."Yeah, same here.""Talking about that, where did you disappear to?" She asked, smirking and I looked at her through my fingers."I told you, I was on a call," I said and her grin grew as she shook her head."Right, a call that made you come back with your hair all messed up and your red lipstick smudged, let me not forget to mention the walk you had after that 'call'," she air quoted and
"What do you want?" I asked Mike as I sat in front of him and he gave me an expressionless response, his eyes looked down to my legs before he looked back at my face and scoffed or laughed? "You wear dresses now?" He said and I shrugged my shoulders and he rolled his eyes. "Xania." "Yes?" "You seem to be forgetting what you were sent to do," he said and I uncrossed my legs resting my shoulder on my knees and cupping my face. "What was I sent to do?" I asked mockingly and he smirked, uncrossing his legs and pushing his face in front of mine, his hands were interlocked and he cocked his head to the side. "I sent you to help me ruin Theo Walder, not to fall in love with him," he said and my smile fluttered before a ne
"What are you doing here?" I asked him getting up and he came over to me pressing a kiss on my cheek. I looked at him surprised and turned to see Travis and Zada snickering."I came to see if you guys settled in alright?" He said looking at Zada and then back at me. He pushed out his hand towards Zada and said, "Hi, I'm Theo."She moved forward and shook his hand with a smile of hers, "Zada, so you are the infamous Theo, nice to meet you," she said and Travis cleared his throat taking Theo's hand in his shaking it."And I'm Travis, these two are my girls," he said pointing to Zada and me, who by the way were very amused, and it seems as if Theo was too but he kept it on a simple smirk."Nice to meet you, you must take great care of them, no?" He asked and Travis gave him
Standing by the living room indoor balcony, I looked down at the foyer watching the rich mingle with each other, some giving each other warm smiles while others were clearly faking it. Heaving out another sight, I took a sip of my champagne and looked around the house, even though I've been in here before, I still cannot believe how amazing this house is. The marble stairs tied in greatly with the floor, if I was to get drunk here, I would need somebody to help me walk down these stairs. The railing was made out of wrought iron, clearly, somebody spent the whole day polishing this looking at how much it was shining. The chandelier had to be really expensive, how do people even install it without dropping it or something...Theo's parents sure are rich. "You really don't want to be here don't you?" Adam
