“Ma'am, you really need to take this seriously. Haa." Laura signs heavily as I ignore her teachings. My eyes are finding interest outside in the garden where red roses are blooming to its fullest.

“Let's not do this today, because clearly you are not in the mood." She adds after not seeing any attempt from me to do what she wants me to do.

I lift my legs up and cross them. The wound on my knees had healed to some extent. Isaac didn't come home yesterday. Though I am grateful, I am partly frightened of being alone again in this mansion. Yesterday night went in a blink since I slept like a log.

Where is he even? I didn't even see any houses here when I ran away the first day that I came.

“Laura." I call her out and look toward her. She has made herself comfortable on the sofa across from me. Her hair in a sleek pony and like everyday she is adorning a suit.
