Chapter 29: The First Prince of Hell
"You will regret crossing swords with KIRA… I swear that within my defeat is the start of our revolution," he declared.
Oren loosened his arms and smirked at me.
"What the!" I screamed as I jumped away from him. His body became a catalyst for a rune curse to activate.
Intense pain then shook my core, and my veins appeared like they were going to pop. I looked at my body and my blood started to burn like a white flame consuming the power inside me.
The pain subsided after it spread across my right deltoids towards my left pectoralis. Fortunately, I was able to quickly activate the rune spell enchanted on my clothes to stop the spread of the curse.
