Chapter 28 Here We Go Again

"So, did you get the call?" Cherry asked.

"Hang on, we literally got the call five minutes ago. How did you know to be here right at this minute?" Jess asked.

"Oh, they called me first." Cherry retorted. "I am the mother after all!"

"Yes, but how would you know when they would call Axel? Axel, how accurate is this lab? Did you check into them?" Jess asked.

"Axel, are we going to have to put up with her negativity all the time? You know it's bad for the baby!" Cherry pouted.

"Here we go." Jess muttered. "Look Axel, just look at the kid! He has black hair and brown eyes. You have brown hair and blue eyes; she has blonde hair and blue eyes. Genetics say typically the offspring would have blue eyes and either blonde or brown hair."

"Axel we are going to leave because she is upsetting your son. Call me if you want to be a daddy to your son. And from now on we aren't coming over unless she's not here! So, if you want to see your son, you come to my place or make sure she's gone!" Cher
