It was just after nine in the morning when we got back on the road. Eric has been trying to make small talk with me for the past few hours, since waking up. It wasn’t that I minded talking to him, I was just distracted by what happened last night.
Still, after running everything through my head, I wasn’t sure what had occurred. From the moment I met Eric, my world has been spiraling out of control. Before I left my old pack, it wasn’t the greatest, but at least I knew what to expect.
“If we get some time after we pick this guy up, I would like to take you to see the ocean. There is a pack near the coast that I think we can talk to. They know a coven of witches that aren’t far from them.” Eric spoke, bringing me out of my jumbled thoughts for a moment.

Leilani-After washing my hands, once I was done using the restroom, I walked around the gas station a bit. Technically this was my first time ever going inside a gas station. Leilani-Panic began to fill me as they moved closer to me. Why had I listened to that voice?
