“Maybe she meant when we finish the mate bond?” I asked, just before I lowered my head to lightly nibble on her neck, where my mark will go.
To my surprise, she responded by emitting a soft moan. Finally, I could have what my brother has with his mate. I knew it wouldn’t be the same exactly, but I was sure I would be happy regardless.
“You mean by having sex?” She purred as I continued to nibble on her neck.
I couldn’t help by wonder if it was her that was responding to me, or the mate pull. As mates, it shouldn’t matter, but it did slightly. I wanted her to be wanting this of her own volition.
“Yes, but I mean by claiming you fully as mine.” I pulled back from her neck to look her in the eyes. “Only if you want to and are ready.” I added.

Leilani-Waking up the next morning, I realized I had fallen asleep on Eric’s bed. I didn’t remember much after he marked me, in fact, I don’t even remember falling asleep. The last thing I remember was sitting on top of him still, just having come down from a sexual high.I remembered thinking I was feeling happy that I was no longer alone, then nothing after that. There had to be more that happened. I mean I was wearing a shirt that was probably ten times too big for me.I was also tucked up against Eric as he slept soundly. Leilani-Why did I feel so peaceful here? I was surrounded by a field of purple flowers. There were some flowers I recognized, others I did not.
