Time ticked forward slower than it usually

seemed.

At this moment, Isaiah felt like one of his

His face turned pale as nervousness crept into his bones. Anxious, he clenched both of his hands into fists.

“Don't be sorry, I'm glad that it was you because I couldn't be more thankful that it's not somebody else," Miranda reassured as she held Isaiah's face.
