Gina felt a strong breeze and dragged the covers further up to cover her body when her eyes opened with a smile on her face. For the first time in a while, she woke up feeling happy and rejuvenated for the day and it was ten seconds later that her brain rebooted and she managed to catch herself. She was feeling this way because of the long call she had last night with her ex boyfriend. Then and even now, she found herself wanting to break away from him for the pain he caused her and a strong feeling that they could still be friends. If anyone told her she would be smiling with him after he cheated on her, she would have laughed at the person's face.
