Chapter 54

After a couple of hours, Henry finally decided to go back to the house and get on with his life. He still couldn't believe that after everything, Gina had blown him off like it wasn't worth it. He sighed and switched off his car engine, looking up into his wife's room. The lights were turned off and he mildly wondered where she was. She wasn't supposed to get out of bed until after a couple of days, but his guard informed him about the hours she had spent with Ken and it made him boil in ager. Maybe she was getting something from him and didn't see the point of being with him anymore. However, he shrugged and got out of the car with the intention of going straight to his room.

He wasn't in the mood to see her or say anything to anyone, but immediately he got into the house, the cook rushed forward to meet him. It was as if she had been waiting for him, and against his will, he asked her, "Has my wife had dinner?" The woman nodded her head and Henry just nodded as well. So, that meant
