She noticed the over grown, untrimmed beard on his face, how that had escaped her was a mystery.

He looked gloom and looked like he's lost a few pound since she last saw him, his skin had lost it's shine, while he still looked, you know, great, he also really looked terrible. Her humor dropped.

"Everything cool?" She took pity on him.

"Yeah" he was very quiet.

"It's quite late, I can't really find a hotel to book you in tonight, so you're cool with staying at my place?" Amy asked

"Yeah" he replied, he shrugged into his red blazer.

"We have to go now if we really want to get Erica to give us a ride home, she took a cab back to the shop to get her car, mine isn't here so I kinda asked her to come back and give me a ride home, and she'll be..." She looked at her wrist watch
