King ask the driver to drop Titayo home and the driver nods and he open the door for Titilayo enters and the drives her home.

Lisa cked the time and it's almost 8:30p.m and she gets worried for Titilayo and her mother noticed her and she stood up from she lay down down.

“ What happened? What happened to you? Why do you look so worried?” she ask.

“ This almost 8:30 PM and Titilayo is not yet back from work “ Lisa says.

“ you should call her on phone you are how the traffic use to be she will back home soon” she says.

“ I wish I could call her but I do not have airtime on my phone “ Lisa says and Vincent rushed in that Titilayo is back and it's a car that drop her and Lisa and her mum rushed out and they saw the car that drop Titilayo drove off.

“ Mum! Lisa! Why do you think both look so worried?” she ask.

“ We were worried for you my dear “ her mum says.

“ I am sorry but the traffic was much but I am here now” she says and her cough and she wanted fall and Titilayo rushed to her

“ Mum! Are you ok?” she ask.

“ She is not fine, she came back hole early today because due fainted “ Lisa says and Titilayo gets shocked.

“ What?!! She fainted. We should take her in now” Titilayo says and she and her siblings take her mum in and they lay her in the bed.

“ You all should worry about me, I will be fine” her mum says.

“ Have you giving her medicines?” Titilayo ask.

“ I gave her the in the afternoon but not yet for this night” Lisa says.

“ But why?” Titilayo ask.

“ We do not have foodstuff again, I cooked the last one this afternoon, I wanted to call you buy some but I do not have airtime on my phone” Lisa says and she looks at the condition of her mum and her siblings she looks at the don't on her mum’s hand and she weep and she brings out the little cash that is inside her minibar and she gave it to Vincent.

“ What should I use this one thousand naira for?” Vincent ask.

“ You should to get food that we will eat fit this night so mum will take her medicines” Titilayo says.

“ But what of the money you will for transport tomorrow home will you get it your saakru has not been paid” Lisa says.

“ Yes, I know but the driver will pick me up tomorrow” she says..

“ You mean the car that drop you home the person driving is a driver “ Lisa ask.

“ Yes, he is my boss driver. Vincent you should go get the food now “ Titilayo says and Vincent left the house and she bring out her small phone Nokia 33/10 and she wlka out of the house and she dial Kings number.

King is on his way hike driving and his phone rang and he look at the a screen of iPhone 13 pro max and it is Titilayo calling him and he pick up the call and out airpod in his ears.

“ Yes tell me. Are you home already?” King ask.

“ Yes, I just got whole few minutes ago “ Titilayo says.

“ Ok good then by tomorrow you should park to my house” he says.

“ Not ye sir, I need to sort out something for my family before moving in with you but I would like to ask when will you pay me the money you promise me because I ned to rent another house for my family because this environment is not good for them and as week I want my mum to stop selling at the road side so I will like to open a small business for her” Titilayo says.

“ If you want to get the money you will have the move in with me first and I will transfer the money in to your account “ King says and he ends the call.

“ But sir.... Hello... Hello...hello” Titilayo says and she discovered that King has disconnected the call and she think of how to tell her mum that she is moving to Island in her condition.

“ I will just have have to tell them and when I move in to his house tomorrow I will transfer some money to Lisa’s account to get house new house to rent and to pay her school fees and to pay Vincent school fees as well and later I will think of how to pay for mum’s treatment, she need care before I sickness get out of hand” she says to herself and she walks back nervously, Vincent enters the house back with the food he got.

“ Mum! You should eat now so you can take your medicines “ Lisa says and he give her mum the food to eat.

“ I do not want mum to go and sell tomorrow or ever again” Titilayo says.

“ But why won't I go and sell, how are we going to survive daily your payment is base on salary and we can't wait for that and by the time you get paid for your salary you will pay the bills, I don't when everything will be over“ her mum says in tears.

“ Everything is already over mum” Titilayo says.

“ What do you mean?” her mum ask.

“ Well, my boss agree to lend me some money tomorrow and he told him to move on the island so I will be staying with a friend you know mum I always get late for work and he always use to be angry so he gave the option to move in with friend who stay on the island and mum tomorrow you do need to go and sell, I have arranged for everything, I will send some money to Lisa's bank account and she will pay for her school fees an for Vincent’s school fees as well and will open a small business for you that will be beside the house so you can won't be stressing yourself and I will ask the hospital for your treatment so tomorrow Lisa will go look for a room and seld apartment because this environment is not good “ Titilayo says and her mum and Lisa and Vincent get shocked.

“ How will you get all this money?” Lisa ask.

“ I told you my boss wants to lend me some money” Titilayo says.

“ He just want to lend you some money without any conditions “ her mum says and Titilayo was short of words.
