Titilayo think of another lie to tell her mum and she gets nervous.“ Mum! Come on? Funny! There no any conditions. He just said this for my own good you know I always go to work late and he is always complain about that so he suggests me to stay at with a friend on the island” she says and she feel guilty about lying to her mum and siblings and Lisa saw the ring on her finger and Lisaw closer to her raise her finger up and Titilayo get shocked

“ This ring on your finger looks beautiful and expensive” Lisa says and Titilayo think another lie.

“ This looks like a wedding ring on your finger” her mum says and Titilayo gets more nervous.

“ Wedding ring! Come on mum! Do you think I will get married without your consent you can't do that and even though I am about to do so you will be the first to know about it “ She says and smiles feeling guilty.

“ Tell me who is this your friend and do we know her?” her mum ask.

“ No mum, you do not know her at all she stays on the island” she says smiling and feeling guilty.

“ What is her name?” her mum ask.

“ Her name is Jane” Titilayo replies feeling guilty.

“ I will go park my things now “ She says and she walks to where her things are to pack them into her bag and she feel more guilty lying to her family.

King drives in to his mansion and he park his car, he goes down from his car and he walks in and he met his lawyer sitting in the living room.

“ You are here already?” King ask.

“ Yes, it's seems what you want to tell me it's urgent so I have to come here quickly” the lawyer says.

“ Yes, I got married to one of my staff and he got married at the registrar of ikoyi but it's just a contract marriage we will get a divorce once I am done with the Estate development deal “ King says and his lawyer gets shocked.

“ You got married today!” the lawyer says in surprise.

“ Who did you use as your witnessed?” the lawyer ask.

“ No one, we got married without a witness I will pay for the job “ King says.

“ Wow, she accepted without thinking? How much do you promise pay her?” the lawyer ask.

“ I promised to pay her six million when she move with me tomorrow “ King says.

“ Six million is just a small money and she accepted the money” his lawyer says and King walks through his wine bar and he pick a drink and he pour in to a glass and he sip.

“ She has no choice but to accept the offer, she is in need of help so she accepted she is from a very poor home”he says and he sip his wine.

“So as she accepted to move in tomorrow?” the lawyer ask.

“ Yes, she has. She has no choice than to. She will be here tomorrow and I want you meet her and also I will take her my mum in lekki tomorrow to introduce her as my wife but between us and you it's just a contract marriage” King says.

“ What is her name ?” the lawyer ask.

“ Her name is Titayo, you can sleep in the guestroom so you can meet her tomorrow morning”King says.

“ I have to go to office early tomorrow I hope she will be not come late “ the lawyer says.

“ You should not worry my driver will go pick her tomorrow” King says and he brought he iPhone 13 pro max and he dial Titilayo’ number so he can tell her not come with her outdated clothes but her number is not reachable and King continue trying her number.

Titilayo lay in the bee thinking and she turns back and look at her mum and siblings where they sleep and she feel guilty that she lie to them.

“ I am only doing this for the good of this family” she says in her mind and she turned back to her the other side and she sew her Nokia 33/19 flas a light and she saw missed calls from King and she raised her head she wanted to try his number back up but she do not have network on her phone.

“ No network on this foolish phone, how will I call King to ask him what he want “ Titilayo says speaking to herself.

King stop trying to call her “ just wanted to tell her not come with her outdated clothes “ King says speaking to himself.

It's next morning and Titilayo woke early she she picked a cloth and she think King might not like the dress and she think of wearing the one King got for her and she think in her mind that her mum and siblings will ask where she gets the money for such an expensive dress.

“ I will wear what I have” She says in her mind and she wear the one she chose.

“ How so I look?” she ask.

“ You look perfect” Lisa says and they both smiled.

Vincent walked in and he tells Titilayo that the driver is here already and Titilayo gave him her bag to give it the driver.

Titilayo carries her mini bag and she removed a pen and she cut a small paper and she write a phone number and gave it to Lisa.

“ What is this for ?” Lisa ask.

“ That is the number of an agent his name is Mr Aking you should tell that I sent you to him so he will show you some house some apartment so if he tell you price you should call me then I will transfer money right away for the house rent, your school fees, Vincent school fees and for mum’s little business I want her to start up a little business and I do not want her to go and sell at the read side side anymore and make sure the house you want rent has a shop at the front and for mum’s treatment I will ask the hospital about it so Vincent to stay with min while you gonseacj for house today”she says and Lisa nods and Titilayo brought five thousand cash for.ber mini bag and she gave it Lisa.

“ That's the last cash with me you should manage till spend money “ She says and Lisa embrace her and she walks to her mum where she lay to embrace her.

“ I will miss you so much” Lisa says and Titilayo weep.

“ I will miss you more “ she says weeping.

“ You should take care of yourself “ her mum says and she embrace Vincent too she walks to the doorstep and she looks back and she feel guilty for lying to her family and she walks out of the house and enters the car still weeping.

Lisa and Vincent stood at the doorstep and they watch the car leaving.

Titilayo sit in the car and she weep and the driver gave her tissue to wipe her tears.

“ Thank you” she says and she wipe her tears.
