Chapter 37:

“You sent for me sir,” Smith stated shivering as he walked into Darius' office and, knowing just what it meant. Since he hired Layla, he had been on their list of people to fire.

It was all at its peak today.

"What do you mean I sent for you? What is the meaning of what you did back then?" Darius raised an eyebrow and roared.

"I'm sorry sir, I thought I had it under control,” he responded.

"Can you listen to yourself? You thought you had it under control or you should have it under control," Darius hissed.

"Sir, I apologize for the difficulties. Such will never happen again,” Smith remarked while his head bowed was bowed.

"You are right. Such will never happen again because this is the last time this will ever happen,” Darius responded.

"I'm grateful," He took a moment to consider what he had just heard. Was that his intention?

"I'm sorry sir, what does this mean?" He said.

“Are you that stupid, this is the last day of your job here!”

Smith immediately fell to his knees
