POV. Eric Lafallete. We knew this day would come, but none of us expected it to be so soon. When Alec realized Isabella was feverish, I felt my blood run cold. I understood immediately that her heat had arrived. We got into the car and while Alec took care of her, placing cold compresses on her body, I drove at full speed. For the first time, I can sense everything about her, since, in this state, she cannot block us.
