CHAPTER 33 – Linda vs. Minerva (Round 1)
She puckered her lips thinking if she should reply or not.
She decided to test the waters.
‘Know what?’ Celine replied.
She waited for a reply but she didn’t get any.
‘If you’re done, let’s continue with the planning’ still no reply.
Oh well, the cat is out.
What can she do about it?
“Do you want to add something to the list? We’re meeting Linda for lunch” she said as if nothing happened.
Tiff shook her head.
She could only look at the unaffected woman in front of her.
She’s expecting Celine would beg her to keep the affair secret.
She even thought she could blackmail Daniel to call off their impending date.
“What’s the deal between you and the boss?” Tiff asked as soon as they reached her car.
“Are you practicing the ‘jealous wife’ act?” Celine asked back.
