I decided to head home and grab lunch before going back to the hospital. I was super hungry and I didn't know how long Bail's labor was going to last and I didn't see the harm. Thankfully, Ernest was there to drive me home or I would've taken the cab.
I felt at ease when we pull into Jacob's apartment building and then he drives us to the parking lot, it's like a building secure, few cars are parked there and there's no one there. I turn to Ernest who was already staring at me.
"Thanks for the ride" I smile at him.
"You're welcome Becca" He replied. "Is Jacob in?"
"Um...no." I shrug.
I watch different emotions cross his face before he speaks up. "What's it about him that you like so much?" He then asked and I let out a puff of breath, I cross my arms.
