"You want me to do what?” Bea shouted. She could not believe Tommy. There was absolutely no way that she was hearing him correctly.

“I want you to stay in my place until the baby is born,” Tommy repeated, he didn’t sound like he was joking at all.

“I know you don’t want to get married and it was too rash for me to have asked you without thinking, but you have denied me almost nine months of knowing of my child’s existence. I don’t want to spend another minute being away from him or her,” Tommy continued and Bea stared harder at him.

Surely he had gone mad. A few hours ago, she could vividly recall that he was pissed at her, and now he wanted them to live together.
