So kind and compassionate

Sophie blinked sleepily as she tried to focus her vision, rubbing her eyes slowly as she turned to look at him.

He was leaning forward on the steering wheel, his arms crossed, his eyes closed and his head lolling backwards slightly. It seemed like he was barely asleep, although he did appear to be sleeping.

"What are you doing?" she whispered, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Where are we?"

"Just stopping. I wanna eat something before we go home."

"Alright... But what are we eating?"

"A burger," he replied, opening his eyes, looking at her with a small smirk.

"A burger? At midnight?"

"It's fine. It's not like we're gonna run out of money, are we?"

"No... Well, I guess not."

"So what's the problem? Come on, we gotta get going."

"Are you hungry?" she mumbled softly, turning and reaching towards the glove compartment.

"Not really, but you need to eat."

"I'm not hungry..."

"Then I'll just go get the food. Don't move."
