One More Weapon

"Good afternoon, everyone." The sound of greetings from someone broke the focus of Monica and Adine enjoying their lunch.

"Have a seat and please explain everything to Adine," Monica said.

The tall man with his trademark fedora hat and bluecromic glasses immediately pulled up a chair and settled down.

"Let's have lunch first," Monica said.

"No, Ma'am, I can't stay long, I just want to deliver this," said the man as he pulled something from his bag.

A certificate of ownership of a house with a distinctive tosca green color with a blue garuda embossed stamp was placed on the table.

Adine could hardly believe what she saw; she immediately picked up the certificate with a large inscription that the National Land Agency had issued.

"Is that the certificate of your late grandfather's house that was passed down to your father?" Monica asked.

The atmosphere was so dramatic that Adine hugged the certificate with teary eyes. She opened the pages that still bore her father's name.
