RUBY’S POV

Ruby stood outside the large door, that housed the walls of the great hall, or royal palace where Adolph Caesar, was currently waiting for her.

That’s what the guard, that had led her through from the maid quarters to this particular spot where she was standing at, had told her.

True to his words, Just like he had said that night, he had called for her, and now she stood arms folded, trembling slightly as she wondered what their conversation would be like.

Also she wondered if he would be soft with her like he had been that night, or if he would act all strict with her today, considering that this meeting was held in the great hall, in broad daylight, with guards lurking and alert, and not in the confines of the dark earlier.

A tremor ran down her spine yet again, and she cracked her knuckles slowly, her feets still unmoving as she was still gathering the courage to walk inside.
