Downtown Burlington was, for the most part, a walking town. Isaac parallel parked on the street behind Bram's Audi A7. Illogical, for this area of the world. From what I heard, it was a few years old, and he was looking to upgrade. Maybe it'd be something with more ground clearance.

"Mind if we check in with Bram first?" Isaac asked. "He should have all the details before he and I chat with Benate."

I nodded slowly. Truthfully, I was jealous I wouldn't be able to hang around for Benate's interrogation, but after seeing the way he was raised, I understood how my presence could make things more difficult. Hopefully, once I was officially queen, that would change. I didn't like being left out of the loop.
