Blakely I awoke to a myriad of strange scents, one of them being Azrael’s, and a raging case of cotton mouth. Rolling over in bed, I snatched the goblet off the side table, and brought it to my lips all without checking the contents. Thankfully, it was cold water that splashed against my tongue, deliciously crisp as it trickled down my throat. Only after I set the goblet down did I realize I was naked beneath the blankets.
