After praying to the moon goddess and looking down, I discovered that Dante had already made his way to the center of the hall, oblivious to the fact that I am going to select him as my mate. He was now the center of attention for all the attendees of this mating season. They were now looking at him in confusion.

He was all excited and happy, and he was waiting for me to announce his name as my chosen mate with all his heart.

I took a deep breath and opened my mouth to say the name. Though so many eyes were on me, I am not sure where I got such confidence that I wasn't even hesitant for a second before taking the name with which I want to spend the rest of my life.
