Daniel stared hopelessly as Luke walked to him. He was in a tight corner. Figuratively and Literally.The look on Luke's face was something he had never seen before. Almost like he was deranged. Like someone who had been expecting a gift but had to wait a long while for it. Well,so to speak.
'God,I'm really screwed.' Daniel thought as he looked around for some kind of escape. The training he went through at the hands of Annabelle in the past seemed pointless now. Sure,he may stand a chance against any regular vampire. But this was Luke. The first. The father of them all.
"I would like to say it has been a pleasure knowing you." Luke said dryly. " But I would just be lying to myself."
Before Daniel could move...or even think of his next action,he found himself in the tight grip of Luke,who had held him by the scruff of his hoodie and raised him up.
"At long last." Luke muttered darkly,as his eyes began to darken red. " I am invincible. "

Daniel listened intently to the deep voice of the dean of his faculty booming over the mic. It had been almost three hours since he started his introductory speech and it didn’t seem like he was going to stop anytime soon. So far, it was talks of welcome, rules, how to excel in the university and of course, the old days speech of how he suffered in his youth and was able to breakthrough with determination. “Make yourself comfortable.” Mystery girl said as she entered her apartment, Daniel following close by and shutting the door after him.She had invited him over and being driven by paranoia, he accepted. “For real, man?” Jake said as he walked alongside Daniel. The two were currently on their way to class. Daniel had left Ann’s place early and reached his hostel just in time to shower and leave with Jake as they had an early lecture, so which meant no time for breakfast.
