He sat close to the glass walls of the restaurant as he observed the few people moving to and fro. It was a sunny afternoon and a few people could be seen at the restaurant eating and discussing. The air smells of tacos and other delicious delicacies.

He looked at his wristwatch again and wondered why she was late.

As he sipped his glass of water slowly, he saw her walk in. She was dressed simply in a black V neck blouse and black jeans. She stopped a few meters from the entrance and looked around the whole place. He was about to give her a call when she turned and saw him sitting at one end of the restaurant, handsomely dressed in a black denim ripped jeans and black T-shirt. She walked towards him immediately and he offered her a seat opposite him.

As soon as she sat down before him, he felt guilty as he stared at her beautiful but pale looking face. Her eyes were sore due to the lots of tears she might have shed.
