DARK THIRTY ONE

Blake's POV:

The shaking bed forced my eyes to open on their own, and immediately stretch my arms, as a jumping Alex with a giddy smile, welcomed my hooded eyes. His giggles filled my ears, making me roll to the other side before clutching my eyes shut. It has been a week since we stayed here with Griffith's family, and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Letting out a yawn, I playfully glared at him, only to receive an innocent-looking smile with wiggling brows, making me shake my head in disbelief. He giggled excitingly when I nodded and forced myself to sit before looking at the alarm clock. 7:09, not bad. Knowing what I have to do next, I get out of the fluffy bed and waiting for Alex to hop on my back, and he did before we make our way to the bathroom.

This is our usual routine, it was explained by this kid, looking at the mirror while brushing his teeth carefully, making me chuckle, as the toothpaste escapes from my lips.
