DARK THIRTY TWO

Luca's POV:

Like the wall clock, my eyes automatically opened, used to the new routine. It has been 2 weeks since my body gets a chance to hold him and feel his warmth, and it's still lingering on every bit of my skin. It feels like I'm holding fire with so much gentle, scared to wake him up, knowing how grumpy he'll be. When my eyes got used to being opened, I let it look at the tiny body, clinging on my chest with his head, nuzzling on the crook of my neck. My lips started smiling on its own, and my nose began sniffing his calming scented locks, as it made my chest leaped up in joy. Of course, I'm holding the man that I was watching for God knows how long. When his father died, I started checking him.
