EMBERLYN WOLFSONG

She examines me like a doctor on duty, and I roll my eyes before shifting my gaze away from her. "Just let me be, okay?" I say this, then fold my arms. She sighs and then clasps her fingers together, gazing at them as if contemplating what to do next. After a brief pause, she returns my gaze with a beautiful smile.

How the hell is she doing that? The fact that she is so adorable with those stunning sparkling silver eyes makes me want to pull my hair out.

"Well, given that, I suppose I can just ask you a question. What is it about me that has you so worked up?" she inquires, and I squint my eyes at her.

"It is none of your business," I say, and she closes her eyes while nodding calmly.
