Ariana's POV

As I walked toward the source of the sound, dreading what I would find there, I was certain that someone was screaming. After all, it was only a human being who could produce sounds like that; an animal could not. As I continued my trek along the hallway, I hoped that the screaming person was not in some kind of danger. But if the person was not in danger, what then was the cause of such pained screams I was hearing? It had to be something dangerous. Still, I pushed my thoughts aside and placed my focus on finding the source of the screaming.

As I walked further and further along the hallway, I was surprised that I had not yet gotten to the source of the sound. It had sounded more closer than it seemed when I first heard it. Why then had I not gotten to it yet after about a minute of walking? Still I was determined to locate the screaming person and do what I could to ease their pain because clearly, the person was in pain. I just hoped that when I finally traced the scr
