CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE: FEAR.

"Yayy!" Purple shrieked, dancing along to the music coming from the stereo in the car.

She ran her hand again along the leather seat and drew in a long gulp of air. There was a feeling of breathlessness in her bosom that made her hands tingle. She smiled.

"It feels so good to have a brand-new car!" She danced, drumming repeatedly on the wheels.

It would feel so good to show off to her colleagues, to show off to Ellen, to show off to the world what an amazing boyfriend she had.

"I cannot wait to get Ellen's jealous reaction," she chuckled.

She hummed along to the music, but as she was about to make a turn into the next street, she stopped and looked again in the rear mirror.

A car was trailing after her, a blue Jeep. She had noticed the Jeep from the moment she drove out of her apartment. At first, she thought it was nothing, but as she drove, she saw the same car behind her over and over.
