SEVENTY SEVEN

The first thing she felt when she opened her eyes was that her whole body ached. Hands, feet, head, everything hurts. She seemed to have a hard time moving her hands without causing a terrible stinging pain to run through her body. Thousands of elephants seemed to have just trampled her body.

For five minutes she tried to adjust to the pain and everything around her. She knew she was in the hospital. Last night her car hit a power pole as she tried to chase the terrorist. Actually the damage wouldn't have been that bad had she been driving at a normal speed, but she wasn't. In order to catch up to the lambo, she pushed the gas pedal too deep. Last night she was so eager to chase after the terrorist that she finally couldn't control her car when she was startled by the appearance of a mini van in front of her. What a messed up night.
