THIRTY ONE

The sound of tires stomping on gravel creaked loudly as Calvin's car pulled into Hazel's house in mountain area. Inside the quiet house, there are many flower pots that are still very well maintained and also emit a fragrant aroma. From Hazel, Calvin knew that the pots were still being cared for by a neighbor who was not as close as he imagined. Hazel's closest neighbor was four hundred meters to the west. While on the east side, the house is bordered by a vast wheat field which looks stunning when the gentle breeze begins to blow this afternoon.

"I didn't think that a great judge like you would actually be a mountain woman."

Hazel knew he was going to make fun of her, but she chose to ignore it by walking over to the doormat at the front door to retrieve the house key that had been there for years.
