CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR.

Ron left the hotel early the next day, alone. Of course, he paid before he left. The next morning, Lauren woke up as early as possible and went to the receptionist to collect a key to Ron's door but she was told Ron had left. She did not believe it at first but when she ran to the room the man spent his night in, she met cleaners cleaning the room and so, she was convinced.

She felt worse knowing that Ron had left her there at the hotel and went on with his business. She tried to call him but his phone was switched off. She tried to call his mother but the woman informed her that Ron wasn't home yet. Lauren felt angry, bitter and pushed away. But what would she possibly do? Nothing.

As much as she was worried about Ron's whereabouts and angry at his sudden departure, she was more worried about their honeymoon. Their flight to Miami was going to be later that afternoon and Lauren was worried, she knew Ron was definitely not going on that flight with her. She knew she might not go on
