Dahlia POV.

It’s a damn good thing I am a werewolf. Brrr! It’s freezing. I would have died if I were a human alone. I shifted into Celeste as soon as the portal closed.

We are in some barren, frozen wasteland. I knew the pure rogues were here somewhere, but didn’t think it would be damn blizzard conditions.

We have had to find shelter in a cave to wait the storm out. It is a complete whiteout as the snowstorm and wind howl against the entrance.

“Now we wait.” Celeste says to me as we lay there in a ball, keeping warm. Time goes by, slowly. How long has it been? Hours, days? Who knows?

“How long do you think this storm will last?” I ask her and she huffs. A puff of warm breath leaves her nostrils, forming a little cloud.

“How long is a piece of string? I don’t know, for the hundredth time I. don’t. know! Get some sleep. Hopefully, it will have passed by morning.” Well, I guess she is right.

“It hasn’t been the hundredth time that I’ve asked you, so stop snapping at me.” I say to her as

I agree with Celeste tbh. Dahlia's mouth is way too reckless for her to be reliant on Celeste ALL THE TIME.
