Chapter 15: Suspended - Spin

I wake up to what sounds like Loyalty whimpering from the bathroom. I find her curled up on the floor of the tub, bringing back horrid memories of my mother. “Baby girl”? I step into the tub with her and pull her to her feet, leaning her into me before cranking up the heat of the water. She lets out a deep sigh and her body physically relaxes. After a few minutes and her skin starting to turn pink, I turned the shower off and wrapped a towel around her before heading into the bedroom to get her something comfortable to wear.

She sits on the bed next to the clothes and begins to laugh. “What?” I ask her curiously.

“Just curious how many girlfriends of Spin’s past it took for you to know what I needed”, she says.
