Chapter 29: Oversharing - Spin

My first thought is Loyalty, as I jump from the bed and nearly stumble over the shoes she must have worn last night. They’re dropped on the floor next to her purse like she was in a rush to get to bed because she’s so OCD she would never have done that on purpose. I continued to her bedroom to find it empty. Her bed is still made and has not been slept in. I charged back to the living room, “Loyalty?” I shouted. “Where is she, Jonny”? He doesn’t even budge from where he lays on the couch with his back towards me. “Where the fuck is she, Knight?” I yell.

“She who?” Jonny finally mumbles!

“Loyalty”, I snapped. “She’s not in her bed”!

Jonny sighs before he yawns through a stretch and says, “right here”. He rolls onto his back, pulling Loyalty on top of him from where she was cocooned between him and the couch.

Her body trembles as she lifts her head up and groggily says, “what"?! Then she plops her head back down on him and sighs.
