Chapter Thirty One

I felt bad eating dinner alone without Damien. I only appeared to pick a few bite sizes and then left for the pool side. I slowly chewed my food as I stared at the TV's screen clueless.

“We can talk now" I heard from behind me. It was Damien. I was happy and shocked at the same time. The news of him talking to me brought smiles to my face. I almost put away my food to listen to whatever he had to say but he stopped me. “Finish your food first" it sounded almost like a command.

I nodded and continued my food. My appetite disappeared seconds later. I cleaned up with the napkin and turned to him “i am done “ I whispered. He nodded and gave me a go ahead to speak.
