Dani POV

She had to be joking right? I asked myself when i dropped my phone down. Juliet and Arthur were pretty close and it was clear that he had a soft spot for her in his heart.

“You look like you could murder someone right now.” I raised my head at the sound of Robert's voice, he had some files tucked in his hands and his phone in the other, he was wearing glasses and he looked at me with concern.

“Hey Rob-” I muttered putting a smile on my face. “What are you doing?”

“Oh, I just finished photocopying some files, heading to HR to submit them. What about you? Where are you going to?”

I groaned and closed my eyes.

“I have to be be somewhere and i dont even know the place, and i’m not even supposed to be there until eleven, and she’s already threatening me.” I poured out and he only chuckled.

“Is it Juliet?” he asked and i stared at him. Did he also know Juliet? As if he could read my mind he answered.

“Yes, our families do go way back and our grandparents had put them together.” he
