Arthur POV

She was fast asleep, in my arms. Her head rested on the top of my chest and her lips slightly parted made it clear that she was tired. The air hostess passed me a smile as i climbed down the stairs and walked towards the car waiting for us.

“Arthur.” Graham called out to me and i stopped and turned to him. His gaze shifted down to Dani who was in my arms and then back to me.

“This thing between you two must be serious, i’ve never seen you looking so realxed in a long while, its either one muderous look or the other. Do you really like her?”

Graham was one of those persons that could speak to me about my personal life, maybe because i had known him since pilot school and he had proved himself more as a friend than the pilot he was meant to be to me..

“Yes.”

“I hope you plan on protecting her from the rest of your world?” It was a question no one had plainly asked me and it made me think, liking Danielle was one thing, bringing her to my world and shielding her from the news,
