Jonas waited for his response, hoping that Raid would give him any, he knew his favor was ridiculous, how can he walk into this office and request a billion dollar from a man he had never spoke to for three years now, a man he barely knew, someone who was only his student.

Raid drew a sharp breath and leaned forward on his chair. “Mr. Jonas, to be honest with you, our company doesn’t have that amount, we are struggling as it stands now and I am sorry but that amount can’t be given.” He told Jonas.

Jonas closed his eyes momentarily, all the hopes that were written on his face disappeared, this was the last man he had in mind to ask for help, and the one billion he had gotten from that family had been what he used to pay off the debt he owed and help his company.

“How much can you offer me right now, I am really in a desperate situation.” He told Raid, his heart beating fast in expectation, if he could get something close to the amount he wanted, then he would be grateful.
