Jonas took a detour and drove to the grave where Katherine's parents were buried, he pulled over and took the long walk up to the cliff.

He stopped when he arrived at their tombstone, slowly lowering himself to his knees, and looked at their name that was inscribed on the tombstone.

"I am sorry Edward." He said after a long silence, tears clustered in his eyes.

"I am so sorry." He said again and this time, his voice was hoarse, his lips dried and his eyelid drooped.

"I can't say I did all I could to stop this, I broke my promise to you." He shut his eyes and tears rolled down his cheek, his heart sank a thousand times again.

"I am really sorry, I can't stop this from happening, don't forgive me." His lips shriveled.

He could still remember how nice Edward was, how he had treated him so well, and how they had both been great buddies at work.
