Chapter 10 - Allegations

Another two months had passed and everything was at peace. The syndicate was in a safe zone, and her company was going well. It was too perfect to be true but she was enjoying the pleasure of the peaceful environment she thought she wouldn't experience.

Until a defamation case occurred.

"What is it now?" The annoyance is heard in her voice as Angelica hands her a tablet with a news article about their company. She seemed nervous to see Dianne's reaction as she should.

Dianne slammed her hands on the table before standing up. She furiously walks out of her office while Angelica, her assistant in the company, follows behind her. "Reporters are waiting outside for an announcement," she whispered.

"Clear the way, I don't want a single reporter a meter near me," she ordered and her assistant immediately called the guards to tell them what to do. Her heels echoed as the employees in her company moved out of her way. She's a kind CEO yet deadly when messed with.
