Daphne’s POV

“Is there a reason why you are avoiding your mates?” I heard Dad ask as he entered my room.

“Damn, Ivory, When was the last time you took your bath?” He teased before opening up the curtains, revealing the starry night.

I stirred but said nothing to him, “you would rather not sign the partnership deal?” He added, “unlike the last time, they seem more desperate to see you this time Ivory”.

“Can’t you command them to go or something?” I asked while I winced in guilt, it just was so weird for me now.

“Did you use them to escape Alpha Ryder wrath?” Dad asked, and I imagined what they were thinking, did they really think that low of me?

“Just leave me alone, Dad!” I exclaimed, and he sighed, “stop making them worried and beat themselves over whatever it is that you are thinking”.

“It’s probably the partnership deal that I had promised to the triplets that have them worried” I said to myself as soon as I was sure I was all alone.
