For several days, Alpha Ryder remained on the run.

Ivory shocked him to the core as in just a few hours, she had successfully pulled all his hard work to the ground and ruined his empire.

He had been merely close, so damn close to having the were world empire in his hands and in just a few days of saying with his sons, she had successfully turned the minds he had groomed against him.

The only reason he had left his sins with her was that she hated them, and they did the same too, so the mate bond wasn’t something to be worried about…it turned out to be that the thought that they were just mere thoughts…their chemistry on that day was shocking.

He remembered seeing Ray clinging to her warmth…the Ray he taught didn’t believe a woman could provide comfort to a strong figure like him.
