Alpha Ryder didn’t stop for any pleasantries after the meeting had taken place.

After Ivory’s answer had done a good job in painting his son's bad once again, he had wanted to confront her but his plans to stop Ivory and her dad before they left was ruined as they seemed to leave rushing.

In anger and shame, he had hurried home in a bid to avoid seeing some Alphas that were specialized in gossip.

So many unwanted thoughts filled his head as he imagined what went through their minds, he had been humiliated.

“Don’t you think you are dreaming too big?” He had heard one of his closest frenemy teases as he caught up to his fleeing figure. With clenched teeth, he practically ran home to avoid them.

Upon arriving home, his sons were not around, which he was thankful for, they had just avoided being lashed at now as all that was happening was all their fault.
