To Be Continued....
Rage had simmered inside of Brooke all week, and now came to a boil as she stood outside the door to the library in the mansion. Right now, Nathan was standing with his back towards the door, surrounded by half naked women clad in bikinis, looking quite seductively at Nathan. She couldn’t believe her eyes. After an entire week of thinking about everything that happened, she had come to a conclusion that whatever Nathan was going with that catalog of semi naked women in bikinis, must be work related. She remembers Nathan telling her that his twin brother Noah was a fashion designer and he must have sent that catalog for Nathan’s consideration. It sounded alright especially if that was indeed the case but then why was Nathan giving him advice about clothing lines? Nathan was into the craft beer business. So she had decided she would go and meet him, wanting to talk to him and demand some answers because seriously none of it was making any sense to her anymore. But then, the moment she
Nathan continued when Brooke didn’t speak. “Because I was so upset about everything that happened, I didn’t get back to Noah and he, like the crazy guy that he is, barged into my room this morning, demanding I take a look at the set of models that he had flown in specifically for me to see. He has a deadline, and he’d planned to do the photoshoot at the mansion ever since I told him that I’d bought it. “ “Yeah, it has this unique antiquated look, and what else is better than half-naked women spread out on the couch for people to look at?” Noah cackled, butting in between Nathan and Brooke. He could feel the tension in the room. “Shut up, Noah,” Nathan yelled at his brother. “And since when have you become such a pervert, Noah?” “Hey, don’t judge me. I appreciate all forms of beauty, no matter the size and shape they come in. I don’t discriminate on any basis. And appreciating beauty doesn’t make me a pervert.” Noah shrugged, admitting he was comfortable with all - with clothes or
Nathan just shook his head at his brother’s antics. He knew Noah was just trying to ease the tension. Because Brooke was looking red like a tomato, ready to combust at any time. “I was so happy, Brooke. I started observing you, trying to figure out everything about you because you were so closed up. But slowly I wormed my way through the walls that you’d built around yourself. We became friends and eventually best friends. I think punching Greg was the turning point for us. God babe, you have no idea how much I wanted to knock that guy out cold.”“You punched Greg? Dude, you never told me that!” Noah exclaimed, once again butting in between. “Do you ever shut up?” It was Brooke this time who spoke, and it left Noah surprised. Because it was like watching a movie with multiple climaxes. Brooke just wanted to listen to Nathan and understand what the man had been thinking. “You deserved it,” Nathan told his brother before he continued, “I felt so happy that day when you finally opened
Nathan was crushed. Never did he think that Brooke would outrightly reject him so blatantly. Brooke didn’t even say anything apart from telling him that she was sorry. What did that mean? Was she sorry that she ran out on Nathan that day? Was she sorry that she never called back? Was she sorry that she yelled at Nathan, accusing him of horrible things? Or was she sorry because she didn’t reciprocate Nathan’s feelings? The last thought was unbearable to him. Because he knew in his heart that Brooke loved him. Yet there was no answer as to why did Brooke run away once again? Nathan couldn’t fathom the idea of living without Brooke in this town after having absorbed the very essence of her in his life. What would Nathan do, staying back here when Brooke so obviously didn’t want anything to do with him? Nathan’s heart was aching and he couldn’t help himself from breaking down. His mind suddenly wandered to the myth around the villa that whoever bought it never got a happy ending in thei
Brooke was feeling awful. She loved Nathan with all her heart and it stung to know that he had allied to her - not on purpose to hurt her - but to win her affection. It was kind of cute in a way but it also felt like a betrayal. All these months she was agonizing over the belief that she never would have a chance to have a future with Nathan because he already had a girlfriend. It turned out, the girlfriend was Brooke herself! Add to the fact that Noah, Nathan’s twin brother had sent her a voicemail advising her to rethink about the whole situation and just talk to Nathan once to clear up the misunderstanding. She decided to do just that. Because she was now filled with hope that Nathan now wanted her - had been in love with her all this time and she finally had a chance to love him back - just like she ached to. She couldn’t sleep the entire night, she was thrumming with anticipation and kept tossing and turning in bed. Eventually she fell asleep with dreams of Nathan Bradford kissin
Brooke was going to be sick, she was definitely going to be sick when Ariana called for Nathan to come out and she heard the bathroom door open. She closed her eyes as someone padded towards them, not wanting to believe what was going to be very obvious in the next moment. But when she heard someone say her name, she was confused.“Brooke? What are you doing here?” Brooke opened her eyes to see a snickering Ariana looking at him and a confused Nathan standing behind her, clad only with a towel on his waist. But she recognized, it wasn’t really Nathan. It was Noah, Nathan’s twin. Sure they looked exactly the same but their voices were different and she spotted that the moment Noah called her by her name. She was instantly relieved. “I could ask you the same question, Noah. Where’s Nathan?”“Oh, he’s in my room. The next one, right beside this one,” Noah answered, pointing in the direction of the room.“What are you doing in his room? And what the Hell is this woman doing here?” Brook
Once Ariana hurriedly ran away, Noah chasing behind her, Nathan motioned for Brooke to follow him to Noah’s room where he had sent the night alone. He let Brooke inside and closed the door behind him. The moment he turned around, he found himself being pushed against the door and kissed hard within an inch of his life. At first, he was shocked, but when Brooke’s tongue shyly licked along his lower lip, asking for entrance, he readily opened his mouth and kissed Brooke back enthusiastically. “I’m sorry,” Brooke said when they broke apart once the need for oxygen was too much to ignore. Nathan licked around the seam of Brooke’s lower lip and pressed soft kisses along her mouth. “For what?” He held her by her waist and pulled her closer to him, bodies aligning perfectly along each other.“For being a bitch,” Brooke breathed as Nathan kept on kissing her, readily kissing him back. Months of pent-up sexual tension was finally being released. It was like the floodgates were opened and t
Brooke opened the door. “Hi.” Nathan was buzzing with nervous energy and was so excited that he wasn’t prepared on being hit by the beauty bomb that was Brooke and her beauty. The dress, and the big smile she sported with a sparkle in her eyes had a huge effect on him. She looked so beautiful. His mouth went dry but he had to say something. “Hi.” Nathan rasped.Brooke smirked, knowing full well the effect she was having on him. “So you had a great day or are you just happy to see me, Bradford?” She teased, her eyes roaming over his body and stopping right around the visible bulge in Nathan’s pants. It took a bit longer for Nathan to understand what Brooke had said. “Shit.” He covered himself with a hand. “Sorry.”Brooke smiled, “Don’t be. It means this is working.” She pointed at herself. Nathan chuckled and handed over the flowers to Brooke, “These are for you.” “Wow!” Brooke took the flowers in her hands and admired them for a moment. “You didn’t have to, Nathan.”“But I wanted
