45. Indecision

That afternoon, Amanda tried to reshape Lea's thoughts. She seemed to dismiss all the reasons Lea provided for rejecting Daniel's love.

"I can't. I'm already into Shane."

"Does Shane feel the same way about you?"

Like a slap in the face, Lea couldn't answer that question.

"So, what's your other reason for rejecting him? Is Daniel ugly? Mean? Rude?"

"Not at all! He's cool, kind, warm, and very considerate, especially when it comes to you!"
