19 –Strange New Friends

“ Don't move one more step. Or we'll be forced to open fire!” Bayani orders making her stop walking toward her father.

Bayani's fingers shivered a little, he shouldn't have let her in in the first place, she was no longer human.

**But how is she not running wild and attacking us right away!?** His thoughts had no answer, but he was sure that if she so much as raised her ankle a bit, he would certainly shoot her.

“ Dad?” Althea suddenly calls the intensely shocked Mayor who took a few steps back behind Bayani.

** SHE CAN TALK!?** Bayani's mind cried.

“ Y_yes dear?” The Mayor finally replies, there's no way this could be his child, but why does her voice sound like her?

** I must be asleep. This cannot be real!** Thinks his bewildered mind.

“ Why are the police here? Did something happen? Did anyone die?” she asks.
