9 – Fallen Souls

Khent and Althea after spending the entire morning shopping, returned to the road to board a taxi back home. The road was quite busy, with people roving about, and residential buildings on each side.

Althea held a cup of strawberry ice cream in her hand, smiling innocently, and waiting for the perfect opportunity to run from him.

They were just a few meters away from the place she and her sister branched to the Hinatuan river.

On seeing a taxi cab approaching from a considerable distance, Khent flings his hand in an attempt to stop it. But instead of it slowing down, the car suddenly speeds up forcing Khent and Althea to dive out of the way.

The car crashes on an electric pole, nearly colliding with people that attempted to flee the way.

The driver opens the door and falls out of the car, twitching and shaking uncontrollably. As people gathered, the man begins to shriek in agony from the overwhelming pain enveloping his body.
